It is the policy of Gemini Industries, its divisions, and subsidiaries to protect the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the public, and to conduct all activities in an environmentally responsible manner. We commit to this policy world wide as an integral part of being the premier coatings manufacturer. We understand that it is our responsibility to provide a sustainable environment, as well as to provide our employees with a safe workplace.We will achieve this mission through our EHS Programs and our commitment to be an EHS industry leader through:
- Recognition of compliance with relevant environmental and safety legislation as a minimum level of performance.
- Educating and training of our employees in environmental and safety issues to institutionalize these EHS values throughout the company.
- Providing our salesman, distributors, and customers with the information necessary to handle and manage our products safely and environmentally responsible.
- Establishment of appropriate forums for facilitating open communication and disseminating EHS information throughout the company.
- Engaging in sound reuse and recycling practices and exploring feasible opportunities to conserve natural resources through better planning and product innovation.
- Striving for an injury free workplace through employee involvement and a strong EHS program company wide.
- The developing of annual goals and objectives to meet these objectives.
- The monitoring of progress and review of EHS performance on a regular basis.
