Product Preparation & Application
Material Preparation:
Gem Glo Stains are ready to use as packaged. Mix thoroughly before using. Thinning is not recommended. Available in 15 beautiful ready mix colors; an even broader range of colors may be achieved through intermixing or the addition of 707 Clear Stain Base. Bright White cannot be mixed with the clear base or the other colors! Gem Glo Stains are not compatible with lacquer stains.
Application:
The Gem Glo Wiping Stains are very versatile. They may be applied in a variety of ways; sprayed and wiped, or brushed on and wiped. They may be sealed after drying for a minimum of one hour, Bright White after four hours, under normal conditions. 707 Clear Stain Base may require a longer dry time depending upon amount of pigment added, amount of stain left on wood, as well as ambient conditions. For a quicker recoat, make sure to wipe clean to remove excessive film build
Clean-up:
Use #500 Lacquer Thinner to clean all equipment. Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulation regarding pollution.
