Sharp – Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program

In May 2007, Gemini Coatings of El Reno received the prestigious SHARP Certification from the Occupations Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) is a voluntary OSHA program that recognizes employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. Acceptance into SHARP by OSHA is an achievement of status that singles Gemini out among its business peers as a model for worksite safety and health.

Gemini decided to pursue the SHARP certification and documented it as a 2007 goal. Through the hard work of all the employees and staff at the El Reno Facility, Gemini was awarded the prestigious certification on May 11, 2007. OSHA formally presented the certification at a presentation held at Gemini’s Facility on June 13, 2007.

The SHARP Certification reflects Gemini’s longstanding dedication to safeguard its employees and is consistent with their promise to their customers and fellow neighbors. The achievement of being SHARP Certified reflects the professionalism and commitment of all of Gemini’s employees. It continues to be Gemini’s purpose and mission to provide their customers with quality innovative coatings and service second to none.
